Behind the Music of Garrett Ellinger
Garrett Ellinger is a passionate music composer creating captivating scores for film and television, while also mixing and mastering for local musicians! A proud VCUarts alumnus with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, he has honed his skills in composition and percussion under esteemed mentors Dr. Filipe Leitao and Dr. Justin Alexander. He helped craft the sound design and music for a mini series from a Richmond production company, "5th World Spiral," and is currently mixing music for an exciting emerging band from Northern Virginia. Garrett Ellinger, with friends from "5th World Spiral," have created an exciting look into Richmond, Virginia's local DIY music scene. Garrett worked on SubSpace, a fun portion of the videos that showcase local artists working on a short form television series sprinkled throughout the show as well as the interstitial between sections.
